When someone is diagnosed with cancer, it is not an easy journey. Our cancer team at The Medical Center is well equipped with the latest technology for treatment, but the compassion and care given by the staff cannot be measured. “It is difficult to hear stories every day, when you wish you could fix it, but it is rewarding to know you are making a difference in the lives of others,” states Eddie Scott, Director of Radiological Services. “Listening and letting our patients know they are not alone in this journey is very important to their outcome.”
Many times insurance does not cover certain medications needed for treatment. Patients may not have the means to travel back and forth to their treatments. This is a reality that is seen every day. You can help our Cancer Program continue to provide excellent medical care to the patients of our community by making a charitable donation, or by getting involved. When you make a donation, you are making an investment in programs that benefit you, your family and friends who are treated here.
