Memorial, Honorary and Celebration

Gifts in honor, celebration or memory of loved ones can be given at any time, and are sometimes given in lieu of flowers for special occasions. This gift is very much appreciated for those who know they are helping others in our community.

Matching Gifts

Many companies offer matching gift programs to encourage employees to contribute to charitable organizations. Many of these programs match contributions dollar for dollar. Please check with your company’s human resource department to see if it sponsors a matching gift program that will match your gift to the Foundation.

You may mail your completed matching gift form to:

Med Center Health Foundation

Give Stock

Transferring your stocks or securities is an excellent way to support the mission of Med Center Health Foundation. Please remember to notify us of your incoming stock gift. Contributing a gift of stock or securities is easy and efficient. Both you and the Foundation benefit when you give stock. We receive a generous gift, while you avoid capital gains tax and have the satisfaction of knowing you are helping others in our community. *Always consult with your tax advisor for specific tax information when giving securities, as certain limitations to deductions may apply.

Event Sponsorship

Med Center Health Foundation hosts events throughout the year for the community; an event sponsorship is an important way for the corporate community to be seen and heard. Become a sponsor of one of our annual events or purchase tickets to attend a special event night. Community partnerships are integral for the Foundation to expand and grow. Generous donations of time, talent and money are all valuable. We are honored and grateful when a civic organization or business orchestrates a fundraising event that benefits our initiatives.

Previous events include: fashion shows, Bowling Green Hot Rods Summerfest, and Special “Event Nights” at local stores. The sky is the limit when it comes to third-party fundraisers.

Contact us and we can help figure out what is best for you and your group.

Custom Special Events

Many of our community partners create their own special events to benefit the hospital, while engaging the community, their employees and their customers. We are fortunate to have many individuals, community groups, corporations and businesses that chose to host events to benefit the Foundation’s initiatives.

If you are interested in sponsoring an event, please contact us.

Employee Giving

Employee giving programs like ECHO (Employees Contributing to Help Others) highlight the goodwill of our company, bolster employee morale, and engage employees in philanthropy.

Grateful Giving Program

There are times in your life when you want to say “thank you” when someone does something meaningful for you. You may experience this when you put your trust in someone to take care of you – to provide the medical care you need with expertise and compassion. This may be as remarkable as saving the life of a loved one or your own. When you have a positive experience, this program gives you a way to show your gratitude in the form of a donation. This donation can be for the service area of your choice or for a need in a particular department.

In-Kind Donations

An in-kind donation is another form of charitable giving in which, instead of giving money to buy needed goods and services, the goods and services are given. Gifts in-kind are distinguished from gifts of cash or stock.
